Meizu 17 series go official with 6.6” AMOLED displays, quad cameras and Snapdragon 865 sensor lunched now

Meizu releases Meizu 17 And, Pro series with a 6.6-inch display and quad-camera setup

After a long teaser campaign, Meizu has finally introduced the latest flagship Meizu 17 and 17 Pro. In terms of hardware, the two smartphones are almost identical, but the Pro version The camera, wireless charging and fast RAM are much better. Apparently, it is very difficult to differentiate between the two. The only apparent difference between the two is that the back of the Pro version is ceramic.

These are also the first five phones from Meizu. Both of these smartphones have a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The display's punch-hole cutout has a 20-megapixel selfie camera.


An under-display fingerprint scanner has been installed in the display panel of this phone.

This phone has a dual speaker setup and has (Meizu's) new engine 3.0 engine.

Both the smartphones have a 64-megapixel Sony IMS686 primary camera on the back. The (Meizu 17 Pro) has an 8-megapixel telephoto camera, which provides up to 8-fold zoom. The third 32-megapixel ultra-wide (129-degree) camera on the back. The fourth camera is Samsung's new S5K3 3D TOF, which has a depth of Used for data and AR content.

The second camera in the Vanilla 17 is a 12-megapixel camera, the third an 8-megapixel ultraviolet and the fourth a 5-megapixel macro unit.

Both the smartphones have (12GB LPDDR5 RAM) (in Pro version) and 8GB (LPDDR4X RAM) (non-Pro version) with Snapdragon 865. Both have 128 GB or (256 GB UFS 3.1) storage.

These smartphones have a 4500 mAh battery that supports 30W fast wired charging while the Pro version supports 27W wireless charging.

Both have Android 10 based Flyme 8.1 installed.

(Mizo 17) is offered in green, grey and white. Its pre-orders have started. The 8GB / 128GB version of the phone is priced at 3699 Yuan or 25 525 while the 8GB / 256GB version is priced at 3999 Yuan or 5 565.

The Pro version of the phone is offered in green, black and white. The 8GB / 128GB model is priced at 4299 Yuan or 5 605 and the 12GB / 256GB model is priced at 4299 Yuan or 65 665.

The official sale of the phone in China will start on May 11.

Meizu has also introduced two limited-edition versions. The Collectors Edition 17 Pro is priced at 9,999 yuan (14 1,415) and will go on sale from May 25. The Meizu 17 aircraft carrier version is priced at 4,299 yuan (60 605). It will be launched on May 27.
